Liberty Square Dental Group are committed to the highest standard of care, this means always being up to date with the latest dental advancements and technologies. We use advanced state-of-the-art dental technology at our Scarborough and Yorkville dental clinic to ensure your comfort.
Our cutting edge technology includes intraoral cameras, digital x-rays and surgical air filtration systems. We believe in the benefits of our advanced technologies as they have proven to improve diagnostic capabilities and promote patient engagement.
Intraoral cameras are small handheld devices that are used by our dentists at Liberty Square Dental in order to capture high-resolution images of the inside of your mouth. This camera is designed to fit comfortably in your mouth and allow us a more clear picture of certain areas. This advanced technology has numerous benefits, but it is especially beneficial as it allows us a real-time image on the screen, so our dentists can show you exactly what they are seeing in your mouth. This will allow you to better understand the condition of your oral health, with the visual representation you are enabled and empowered to actively participate in your dental care and treatment decisions. Intraoral cameras also allow our dentist to detect and address problems at a very early stage. This is important as it leads to more effective treatment, as well as, potentially preventing more extensive procedures in the future.
Our Digital x-rays offer a safer and more efficient alternative to traditional film x-rays, providing instant results and reducing radiation exposure. Using digital X-rays means a safer alternative for our patients. Additionally, the digital format allows us to provide you with quick diagnosis, and begin treatment without delay. Our digital X-rays are incredibly high resolution providing a detailed image. As an added bonus, they also promote environmental sustainability by removing the harmful chemicals involved in traditional X-rays as well as reducing physical waste.
Surgical air filtration system
We understand that staying inside can cause air to become dense. As more people filter through an area, it is common that the air quality may lack in cleanliness. Due to the constant change in temperature, a building may hold onto bacteria, mold, or illnesses. However, we have an air-filtration system, commonly known as Surgically Clean Air. It is an air cleaning process that has a six-step filtration which helps remove any harmful bacteria in the surrounding area. Our patient’s health is of the utmost importance to us, which is why we have implemented this system in our office.
By embracing these advanced technologies, we strive to enhance your dental experience, ensuring precise diagnostics, effective treatments, and your overall comfort and well-being
