What happens following a tooth extraction?

Shortly after, a blood clot will form to allow the extraction site to heal around the wound. Once properly healed, dental implants can be installed and other treatment options such as a bridge are denture can also be considered.

We also offer dental sedation to help make the tooth extraction procedure at our dental office as comfortable as possible. For certain complicated cases patients may require a referral to an oral surgeon.
